Anthropy 2026: Team CSA's Social Highlights

Image for Highlights from Anthropy 2026.

Our team had an incredible time at Anthropy UK 2026. From conversations in the biomes to thought-provoking panels, it was inspiring to see so many people across sectors come together to explore how organisations can create real impact for people, communities and the economy.

We left with our heads full of ideas, reflections and practical takeaways, and wanted to share some highlights from our team over the event.

Leadership challenge: The future of AI in the workplace

Elizabeth Pollitt reflected that whether we were talking about AI, scaling organisations or the UK’s talent paradox, the message was clear: this is not a technology problem, it is a leadership challenge. Key standouts included:

  • Human-centred technology strengthens innovation
  • AI is a mindset not just a skillset; humans must be in the lead
  • Inclusive, authentic leaders unlock potential and future ready organisations

Trust drives impact

Liz Pawson-Poon highlighted sessions on trust and reputation, showing how corporate trust now drives national prosperity

  • Trust grows from individual led, consistent decisions
  • Psychological safety and long term thinking are key
  • Culture, inclusion and ESG commitments directly influence trust

People first innovation

Day 2 highlights explored how humans stay at the centre of technology, culture and work. We also had the opportunity to play Age Irrelevance ‘Future Pathways’ game, co-created with Socialudo and Standard Life plc. It brought real-world scenarios to life, showing how decisions around work, saving, caring, housing and health are all connected, and how together they shape someone’s ability to achieve financial security and wellbeing later in life.

Lizzie also shared reflections from sessions on human-centred innovation and talent:

  • Creative technology can deepen human connection and expand capability
  • Organisations need to experiment with flexible ways of working and redefining careers

Sara Crawford (she/her) shares her biggest takeaway:

My biggest takeaway is what you can achieve with trust - at all levels, in every aspect of your life. From a business perspective do your colleagues, teams and employees trust you? The impact of not doing is huge on culture, retention, reputation and P&L.

It’s a question that has stayed with us.

As we think about the future of work, trust sits at the centre of how organisations perform and how people experience work day to day. It shapes culture, enables better decisions and underpins long-term success
